Pittsburgh Photographers Oct. Coffee Meetup
Better Together
I’m Pittsburgh photographer Don Orkoskey. I founded Pittsburgh Photography because I firmly believe that we’re better together. What does that mean? For me it means that we learn from each other, support each other, and help move the local photography industry forward for the benefit of all photographers in Pittsburgh. The Oct. coffee meetup is part of this effort. By getting to know each other we’re building a community. At these events we can find ways to collaborate. In addition we can help direct each other or turn each other onto ideas we might not have thought of. For example, I offered up the name of a trade group to a photographer working with clients in that field at the August meetup. With luck that will help that photographer find a series of clients and to grow their business.
If this sounds interesting please join us! That said, if you can’t make this one, please sign up for alerts and watch for the next one. Additionally, you can reach out to ask about dates or locations that work better for you. Plus, this isn’t something I’m taking ownership of. Therefore, if you want to organize one let me know. I’m happy to share the info here.
Pittsburgh Photography
In addition to this meetup I’m happy to announce the creation of Pittsburgh.photography a website for all Pittsburgh photographers. If you’ve not done so already please sign up for the directory. Additionally, please reach out if you want to be involved in helping grow the website (which is still pretty new and sparce). Finally, if you’re looking to host a networking event for photographers or any other photography related events please let me know so I can help publicize them.
